Hi, I’m Abby —
I’m a lover of beautiful stories and settings. I believe there is nothing quite like creating a space and time that invites wonder, beauty, and delight as on a wedding day. I live by a good check-list, am drawn to the smallest details, and cannot help but dance along the way. I’m the one who always has flowers on the table, opens the windows on a sunny day, and lights a candle for every dinner (even if it’s leftovers) because I believe that even the mundane moments can be romanticized. There’s deeper meaning behind every table setting, color palette, flower arrangement, fun cocktail, and camera flash…and I’m committed to displaying it through intentional planning and design that points to the beauty of marriage.
My aim in partnering with couples as they plan their wedding is not only to support them in planning, but to create space for them to fully enjoy the engagement season and invest in the foundation of their marriage.
The wedding industry can be noisy, but I come alongside couples as a steady, grounded guide, bringing clarity and helping each couple stay anchored in what matters most to them.
When I was a kid, I would sit on the floor of my bedroom and draw wedding dress designs for fun, which led to creating my wedding inspiration Pinterest board as a thirteen-year-old. I was also the one volunteering to set the table at holidays, making sure that we had candles, flowers, name cards and everything necessary for a festive gathering. Do I like to plan ahead? Very much so.
Years later, my childhood dream became a reality and I got engaged! Soon after, I was launched into the throes of wedding planning. As overwhelming as it could be, I loved connecting with every vendor, crafting the vision, organizing the details, and tuning into my childhood dream. I realized that, beyond planning my own wedding, I wanted to plan weddings for others.
While planning my own wedding, I longed for calm. I wanted time to slow down enough to soak it in, as much as I wanted our wedding day to come. Yet, it was incredibly easy to get carried away by the never-ending to-do list, comparison to others’ weddings, and the need for every detail to be perfect. My hope is to thoughtfully manage the details so couples can move through the days leading up to marriage with confidence and ease.
How it all started
Things that bring me joy
When I’m not planning weddings, you can catch me watching the sunrise on my front porch, cooking dinner for friends, sipping a warm cappuccino with honey, cozied up on the couch with a good book, painting a nature scene, or on a neighborhood sunset walk with my husband. We love travel, exploring new areas, visiting friends and family, and soaking up all that this life has to offer.
