I’m a believer that, regardless of your wedding budget, you can have a wedding that feels true to you. Weddings are so much more than trends and styles! Before all the budget talk, this is key to remember: At the end of your wedding, you’ll be married to your best friend and begin the rest of your lives together! This is the whole point!
It’s important to determine your budget so that you can go into the planning process with clarity. Your budget will help you make decisions on a venue, vendors, decorations, and more. Try to think of your budget as a helpful structure instead of a hindrance. There is so much wonderful opportunity to get creative within the confines of your budget!
Guest count
Considering your guest count will make the beginning of planning your wedding so much easier! You don’t need an exact number, but a ballpark estimate is incredibly helpful. Why is this important?
Most venues will have a maximum guest number that they allow.
More guests usually means more food and more place settings, which comes with a higher cost. This is necessary to factor into your budget!
Guest count will play into your wedding experience. An intimate wedding with 30 of your nearest and dearest will feel different than a large wedding with 300 guests.
